India’s four microfinance institutions (MFIs) are ranked in the top 15th position globally in terms of outreach, efficiency and transparency in 2007. They are SKS Microfinance (2nd rank), Cashpor Microcredit (4th), Nano Finance (12th) and Evangelical Social Action Forum (14th).
MFIs from South Asia and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) have secured higher position in Microfinance Information Exchange (MIX) Global 100 Composite Ranking.
