Tata Power to setup 5 MW Geothermal + solar power plant in Gujarat

Tata Power Company Ltd has informed FreePress that it has signed an MOU with Government of Gujarat to explore setting up of 5 MW each of Geothermal and solar power plants. Geothermal energy is the natural heat found within the earth, where temperature increases with depth, typically by 10-50 degree Celsius/km.
