State-owned telecom service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (MTNL) has announced the commercial launch of third generation (3G) services in Delhi and Mumbai, its two service areas.
The company will launch 3G services in Delhi in the next ten days and in Mumbai in early February. However, MTNL is yet to enter into a pact with any content provider to offer value-added services. The PSU telecom major presently has 15,000 IPTV subscribers in the two telecom circles.
