Hexaware Technologies has formed an association with Greenpulm to offer large scale data management solutions. Greenplum will be responsible for providing the database platform, while the company will enable the migration, implementation, upgrades and maintenance services on these platforms.
Greenplum’s database is based on a massive parallel processing (MPP) architecture designed to support next generation data warehousing and large scale analytical processing, while Business Intelligence and Analytics (BI & A) has been a strong focus area for Hexaware. The partnership will enable both companies to provide a powerful data warehouse database platform and to address the end-to-end implementation of the data warehouse, migration, maintenance and support for customers.
The duo will engage in joint go-to-market activities, including customized solutions to enhance the value for the end customer. Customers with high data and analytics-intensive applications in industries such as Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) and Travel, Transportation, Hospitality and Logistics (TTHL).are likely to be benefited by the solution offered.
As a part of the partnership, Greenplum will provide Hexaware with the preliminary training and familiarization of the database. Hexaware will continue to build competencies and solution accelerators around the database hence tailoring to specific customer needs. Also, Hexaware is setting up a Greenplum center of expertise and will be creating a team of Greenplum software professionals.
