Suzlon’s subsidiary bags contract in Australia

Suzlon Energy Australia, a step-down wholly-owned subsidiary of Suzlon Energy, has entered into an agreement with AGL Energy for supply of 54 units of Suzlon’s S88-2.1 MW wind turbine generators translating to 113.4 MW capacity in Australia in 2009.

Back home, the company has established a wind farm site to utilize solar energy to power site operations in Adwadi, Nasik in Maharashtra.

Suzlon Energy is currently trading at Rs 42.10, up by 1.65 points or 4.08% from its previous closing of Rs 40.45 on the BSE.
