Shopper’s Stop has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with coffee major Amalgamated Bean Coffee Trading Company (ABCTCL) for setting up Cafe Coffee Day (CCD) cafes at Shoppers Stop stores.
The duo intends to set up 19 such stores initially. Customers might get an opportunity to have a sip of coffee at CCD in Shoppers Stop premises by April 2009 after the launch of the first store.
As per the MoU, the existing cafes operated by Shoppers Stop shall be converted into CCD formats, while all upcoming Shoppers Stop stores will be designed with CCD outlets.
