ADAG controlled Reliance Communications’ (RCOM) hived off tower arm Reliance Telecom Infrastructure (RTIL) is expected to finalize infrastructure-sharing deal with Swan Telecom for fifteen years in a month. It is widely speculated that Swan Telecom once upon a time belonged to Reliance ADAG Group before being transfered to Balwas Group of Mumbai. Etisalat has now invested in Swan Telecom.
RCOM has almost prepared deal draft and the deal will be signed in one month’s time. As per the deal agreement, RCOM is to lend 13,000 tenancy slots to Swan in the first year, which will go up to about 20,000 slots by the second year.
