The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has fixed the reference rate for the dollar at Rs 51.75 against Friday’s rate of Rs 50.73. The exchange rate for the euro was fixed at Rs 65.19 (Rs 64.57) on Friday and that for the UK pound was Rs 73.7256 (Rs 72.5236).
The reference rate for the Japanese currency was fixed at Rs 53.10 (Rs 51.84) for 100 yen.
The reference rate is based on 12 noon rates of a few select banks in Mumbai.
