Maruti raises price of SX4, Swift , DZire Star Hatchback

Passenger car major Maruti Suzuki has decided to increase prices of its high-end vehicles due to higher input prices and foreign currency movement. As such factors influence prices of imported components; the company had no option but to go for an increase in prices.

As a result, with effect from January 28, 2009, prices of high-end vehicles will be hiked by Rs 5,000-10,000. A Star hatchback, all variants of SX4, Swift Petrol Lxi, higher variants of Swift-VXi and ZXi, and all variants of its diesel version and Swift DZire will see a price rise.

However, prices of M800, Omni, Alto, WagonR, Zen Estilo, Gypsy, Versa, besides the SUV Grand Vitara will remain unchanged.
