Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 484.33 crore (provisional) in the cash market on Thursday, as per information posted on the BSE website. While FIIs made gross purchases of Rs 1,326.66 crore, their gross sales aggregated Rs 1,810.99 crore.
Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) were net buyers of Rs 175.12 crore (provisional) on the same day. While DIIs made gross purchases of Rs 838.22 crore, their gross sales amounted to Rs 663.10 crore.
FIIs were net buyers of Rs 74.80 crore on Wednesday, January 14, according to SEBI data. While FIIs made gross purchases of Rs 1,689.70 crore, their gross sales stood at Rs 1,614.80 crore.
Mutual funds (MFs) made equity purchases of Rs 257.60 crore and sold stocks worth Rs 403.30 crore on Wednesday, emerging net sellers of Rs 145.70 crore.
