Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam has awarded an engineering-procurement-cum-construction contract worth Rs 930 crore to Delhi based power generator Indure.
Indure is the sister concern of Desein Consulting Engineers and has already bagged major contracts from SAIL for setting up the Bokaro and Durgapur captive power plants.
Indure is planning to undertake Balance Of Plant (BOP) equipment for 2×250 Mega Watt units of thermal power plant in Rajasthan, which is expected to be commissioned in 24 months.
State-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) will supply the turbines, generators and boilers for the project.
