HDFC Bank plans to add 300 new branches this fiscal

The second largest private sector lender of the country, HDFC Bank, is considering opening 300 new branches this fiscal.

The bank has already secured necessary approvals for the same, as added by an official of the bank.

At present, the bank has total 1,412 branches across India, which will stand increased to 1,712 after opening of the new branches. Apart from this, it also has 3,295 ATM centers in around 528 cities.

The bank has reported a 30.52% jump in its June quarter net profit, which stood at Rs 606.11 crore against Rs 464.35 crore in a year ago period.
