GMR Infrastructure Ltd has informed FreePress that GMR Holdings Pvt Ltd (‘GHPL’), promoter and holding Company of GMR Infrastructure Ltd (‘the Company’) has purchased1,00,000 on January 09, 2009; 1,50,000 & 3,48,000 on January 12, 2009 and 1,00,000 on January 13,2009 Equity shares of Rs 2/- each [Total:6,98,000] through open market purchase in normal segment on the Stock Exchanges.
Consequent to the aforesaid acquisition of 6,98,000 Equity Shares, GHPL now holds 134,92,11,710 (74.106%)Equity Shares of Rs 2/- each of the Company.
