Pantaloon Retail (India) has registered an increase in sales by 23.17% to Rs 752.02 crore in January 2009, as against Rs 610.56 crore during January 2008 from its value, life style and home retailing verticals.
The company’s value retail sales grew by 21.08%, to Rs 452.87 crore during the month as compared to Rs 374.04 crore in the last year period. Similarly, lifestyle retail sales increased by 22.05%, to Rs 166.78 crore from Rs 136.65 crore in the previous year period and home retailing sales surged by 32.54%, to Rs 132.37 crore as aagainst Rs 99.87 crore in the corresponding month a year ago.
