India’s second largest private air carrier – Kingfisher Airlines – has increased air fares for various domestic sector routes from February 10, 2009.
A Kingfisher spokesman confirmed the raise in air fare, but refused to quantify the increase saying that it would be very difficult to do it sector by sector.He also said that the company’s main focus is on earned revenue and not seat factors.
These hikes couldn’t have come at a better time for the Airline companies as atleast few Hearts will fly over the weekend to celebrate Valentine’s Day 🙂
