Bharat Heavy Electricals has bagged four contracts to the tune of Rs 7,000 crore from various producers for the supply and installation of equipment for thermal power projects.
The contracts were placed by NTPC, NLC Tamil Nadu Power (NTPL) and Mahagenco. NTPC has placed two orders of steam generator packages for the Super Thermal Power Project each in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
The scope of work includes designing, engineering, manufacturing, supplying, erecting and commissioning of the plant package.
