Maytas Infra board accepts resignation of three directors

The Board of Directors of Satyam-linked construction company – Maytas Infra has accepted the resignations of three directors at a meeting held on Friday.

C.S. Bansal, R.C. Sinha and P.K. Madhav have resigned from the board but Bansal continues to hold the position of President- Transportation and Oil and Gas Sector.

B Narasimha Rao was appointed as the additional director with immediate effect at a board meeting held at short notice. As per the Companies Act, 1956, every public company should have a minimum of three directors.

Maytas Infra was founded by the family of Ramalinga Raju, former chairman of fraud-hit Satyam Computer Services.
