Jet Airways and ICICI Lombard General Insurance have joined hands to float an inimitable overseas and domestic travel insurance product, JetProtect. The product is available for purchase on the airlines website only and can be bought simultaneously while booking flight tickets.
JetProtect offers security against possible risks during travel. Medical expenses caused by accidents, possible loss from trip cancellation, loss or delay of checked-in baggage, compassionate visit by a relative in case of illness and claims arising out of acts of terrorism are covered under the policy.
This apart, a special cover to protect customers’ home against the risk of burglary or fire while the airline customer is traveling in India is also covered under JetProtect.
