Bharti Airtel has decided to come up with IPTV (Internet Protocol on Television) services in the country soon. The company is likely to make an announcement and disclose further details in this regard in a couple of days.
Bharti Airtel has already tested IPTV services through its soft launch in a few cities. It aims to tap 3 million plus broadband customers for this service.
Recently, Bharti Airtel Lanka, a subsidiary of the company, announced the launch of its mobile services in Sri Lanka under the Airtel brand. The company launched 2.5G and 3.5G mobile services in the island nation.
The company also has come up with its popular lifetime prepaid at a lower price point of Rs 99 only. The move is considered to be a vital step towards the company’s commitment to make mobile usage within the reach of common man and provide superior worth to its prepaid customers.
