Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 345.78 crore (provisional) in the cash segment on Tuesday, as per information available on the BSE website. While FIIs made gross purchases of Rs 1,598.79 crore, their gross sales amounted to Rs 1,944.57 crore.
Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) were net buyers of Rs 152.58 crore (provisional) on the same day. While DIIs made gross purchases of Rs 825.63 crore, their gross sales aggregated Rs 673.05 crore.
FIIs were net sellers of Rs 641.50 crore on Monday, January 12, according to SEBI data. While FIIs made gross purchases of Rs 1,763 crore, their gross sales stood at Rs 2,404.50 crore.
Mutual funds (MFs) bought stocks worth Rs 352 crore and offloaded equities worth Rs 791.70 crore on Monday to emerge as net sellers of Rs 439.70 crore.
