The TATA DOCOMO Animation Contest is hotting up! The floodgates have opened and the entries have started to pour in gradually. The first animation entry was uploaded on the TATA DOCOMO Animation Contest website yesterday and its theme seemed to centre around football. It showcased DO CO and MO passing the ball to each other. This was followed shortly by another animation entry which showcased DO CO and MO trying to survive in the rough sea. This is first time in India where a big company is conducting such a contest in which it allows people to ‘play’ with its brand. It is also a massive encouragement for the animators in India, who are presented with the opportunity to showcase their talent on big platform. The reward is an extravagant 1 lakh rupees in cash with the chance to have your animation video showcased across national television.
