Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 563.57 crore (provisional) in the cash segment, according to information posted on the BSE website. While FIIs made gross purchases of Rs 1,770.13 crore, their gross sales amounted to Rs 2,333.70 crore.
Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) were net buyers of Rs 217.83 crore (provisional) on the same day. While DIIs made gross purchases of Rs 1,168.09 crore, their gross sales stood at Rs 950.26 crore.
FIIs were net sellers of Rs 177.90 crore on Friday, January 9, according to SEBI data. While FIIs made gross purchases of Rs 2,815.30 crore, gross sales aggregated Rs 2,993.20 crore.
Mutual funds (MFs) bought equities worth Rs 540.10 crore and offloaded stocks worth Rs 889/60 crore on Friday, thus emerging as net sellers of Rs 349.50 crore
