IRB Infra emerges lowest bidder for Jaipur to Deoli Section of NH12 project

Engineering and construction firm, IRB Infrastructure Developers has emerged as a lowest bidder for a project from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

The project envisages design, engineering, finance, construction, operation and maintenance of Jaipur to Deoli Section of NH12 from km 18.700 to km 165 in Rajasthan under NHDP Phase III on BOT Basis. It is on grant basis with concession period of 25 years and estimated cost of Rs 1500 crore.

The company has sought a grant of Rs 306 crore for the project from NHAI.

Last week, the company had announced that it has emerged as the lowest bidder for a project from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The project was for design, engineering, finance, construction, operation and maintenance of four laning of NH 4A from Goa / Karnataka border km 84 to Panaji – Goa km 153.070 with total length of 65.07 km in Goa under NHDP Phase III on BOT basis. The project is on grant basis with concession period of 30 years and an estimated cost of Rs 800 crore.

The company has posted a net profit of Rs 49.55 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2009. The total income stood at Rs 54.96 crore for the quarter.

For the entire fiscal the company has posted a net profit of Rs 57.35 crore against Rs 5.91 crore in the previous fiscal, up 870.38%. The total income for the fiscal stood at Rs 71.55 crore against Rs 41.29 crore, registering a growth of 73.28% on Year-on-Year (YoY) basis.
