HCL Technologies, one of the biggest IT companies of the country, has emerged as the lowest for the enterprise resource planning (ERP) project of Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) with a quote of Rs 230 crore.
BSNL had invited the bids in September last year for the ERP project, which consists of design, planning, supply, installation, customisation, commissioning, training, operation and maintenance of Enterprise Resource Planning System on a turnkey basis.
HCL has partnered with the global major SAP for the project as the state-run telecom services major had made it mandatory that only Indian companies are allowed to participate in the bidding process.
