HCL Technologies has won a Rs 393 crore contract from National Insurance Company (NIC) for setting up and managing new enterprise wide IT Landscape for NIC.
The contract for a period of 7 years will cover business process re-engineering, application, blueprinting and roll out of 19 applications, systems integration and management services
This is deemed to provide NIC with the next generation of modernization and transformation of its business processes. Indian IT Services company have now woken up to the domestic market due to Obama’s protectionism in the US and after IBM swept away all the Telecom deals woth more than USD 4 bn.
