Narendra Modi to take All Party Chief Ministers on Progressive Path as Prime Minister

Unlike the mute Prime Minister of India, Mr. Manmohan Singh who stood has silent Witness to the Greatest Scams in World History, Hon’ble Prime Minister elect of India, Shri Narendra Modi who has been hands-on in managing the state of Gujarat as Chief Minister for over 12 years now unveiled one of the strategies on how he will put India back on the path of progress [His strategists told us that this is just the tip of the ice-berg]

Contrary to the common perception of Shir Narendra Modi’s style of administration being extremely centralized, the prime ministerial candidate mooted the idea of engaging Chief Ministers in the national development process. Shri Modi Ji made the point that he would like to change the perception of India being run out of New Delhi by the PM and his Cabinet and instead would like to see the PM and the country’s 29 CMs being the core team that runs the country’s development process. His conviction to decentralize power to the States seemed to emanate from the fact that he is a rare Prime Ministerial candidate who has played the role of a State Chief Minister (for more than a decade) and hence is well-versed with the role played by the State-level leadership in fostering change.

Prime Minister elect Shir Modi Ji expressed his vision of enabling India to re-emerge as one of the world’s fastest growing economies over the next few years. Interestingly, he made the point that rather than by creating new legislations, he intends to do so by simplifying the existing legislative and regulatory framework. He went on to say that he perceives this task of re-igniting India’s growth engine as relatively simple and hopes to deliver the same by making small tweaks to the administrative system to enhance efficiency.

Shri Narendra Modi’s Sectoral Focus
The agricultural sector (improvements through a focus on improving soil quality, access to fertilisers as well as irrigation facilities by channelizing river water). Renewable-energy (especially solar and wind power), and the power sector (given his experience of achieving nearly cent percent electrification in rural Gujarat) were sectors that appeared to be on his radar at the national level given that he has been particularly successful in reviving the fortunes of these sectors in the State of Gujarat.
